In their own words
My room is designed around retro warm tones. I knew from the start that adding tech elements would be a mismatch, so I did my best to soften the lights of the various electronics. The feeling I wanted most was an everyday ease where everything is within arm's reach; my style is built on maximizing storage while covering daily work needs. The most practical advice: needs come before looks — and if you have many hobbies, the desk must be big enough.

Observation notes
A foreign trade coordinator from Wuxi, Jiangsu who decided early that tech and vintage could coexist — not as a contradiction, but as a deliberate system. LED glow dialed back to near-zero, warm ambient light kept. Everything within arm's reach. The design principle: 'function over aesthetics, and if you have many hobbies, your desk needs to be big enough to hold all of them.'
Hexcal Studio anchors the system — keeping power, cables, and surface space unified beneath a desk that was already doing a lot of work.
