Xing Zhi's desk is built around a keyboard collection, not a single keyboard — a lit glass cabinet under the desk surface displays multiple boards, and the one in daily use carries a rainbow of artisan keycaps with an engraved wrist rest in Chinese calligraphy beside it. A Nixie-tube clock and an open-frame liquid-cooled PC sit to the left, bathed in the same warm cabinet lighting.

A bamboo-forest photo fills the main monitor while a secondary vertical display shows a mountain lake — both landscape shots, both a deliberate break from the room's warm indoor lighting.
